Cecilia Granata
Cecilia -Ceci (like chickpeas!)- Granata is a professional illustrator and painter from Italy, currently living in California.
Her artwork has been printed on book covers, magazines, skateboard decks and music merchandise. Her fine art paintings have been shown internationally in galleries and museums. Some of her clients include Time Out NY, Microcosm Publishing, Warriors Skateboards and Vegan Treats Her work has been recently featured in the Society of Illustrators 2019 annual and in CMYK Magazine Top New Creatives. Cecilia wrote and illustrated a vegan cookbook “Mama Tried: Traditional Italian Cooking for the Screwed, Crude, Vegan, and Tattooed,” published by Microcosm Publishing in 2016.
She earned her MA in Illustration from Academy of Art University in San Francisco and her BFA, also in Illustration, at School of Visual Arts in New York.
She currently lives in Berkeley, CA, with her handsome husband and her imaginary 1000 dogs. When she is not lost in a colorful wonderland, she loves to travel, to cook vegetables and magic beans, to practice a very traditional form of Yoga, to read and watch movies, to hike and scuba dive but definitely not to fly.
